The map (right) shows the route by car from  Caen (Ouistreham). But although  the most popular  ferry  port for holiday makers, other routes from Cherbourg and St. Malo are just as feasible.

The route from Caen is about 305 miles in length and takes about 6hrs. driving time. The road infrastructure on this route has been greatly improved over recent years.

Although the drive is longer than that from Caen, the ferry crossing is cheaper and of much shorter duration. Ferries are much more frequent on this shorter route too.

Clients can also arrive by Eurostar via Waterloo to Lille (or Paris) and then TGV to Angoulême. We can pick up clients from Angoulême station by pre-arrangement.
