Fishery Rules
- All bait fish must be caught at fishery (if fresh water fish baits)
- You must have a suitable landing net at all times when fishing
- No retaining fish
- You must use our unhooking mats (supplied free of charge)
- Do not leave your rods unattended when your line is in the water
- Please carefully dispose of all litter including cigarette ends and tea bags
- No nuts or maize
- You must have Klin-Ik first aid for fish (or similar make) to treat all hook wounds
- No lead core and barbless hooks only
- No braided main lines or snag leaders or shock leaders
- Not less than 15lbs main line. When fishing for cats, minimum breaking strain 20lbs
- The hook link must be a lesser breaking strain than the main line
- Maximum of three rods per fisherman
- Bait boats must be use with great care “not driving into snags”
- Rig tubing must be use no less than 600mm when legering
- Please do not feed Max, our greedy but friendly Golden Retriever or you may find you have no bait left!
Chalet Rules
- Please do not put sanitary wear or nappies down the toilet
- The chalet should be left as you found it for the next party
- Arrival time no earlier than 16.00hrs.
- Departure time no later than 10.00hrs.
- Please leave the chalet & BBQ in good clean condition otherwise, you could be charged for the cleaning of the chalet
These rules are set out for the welfare of the fish and to ensure quality fishing for all our guests.
If you neglect to abide by these rules we reserve the right to ask you to leave the Fishery
